bracelet watches

Watches make great presents. They allow a loved one to revamp their personal style, to add an accessory, and to say, “well, now that I have a watch I can match it to those boots I’ve been longing to wear but have never really felt like anything matched with them.” In turn, those boots can quickly become a favorite, and now there’s a new go-to outfit in her closet.

Plus, gifting a watch says “I’ll be thinking of you for a long time.” It allows a loved one to remember that her time is precious and there is always something to do and live for.

When determining the style and color of watch to give to your loved one, look at the jewelry styles they already wear. Look at their clothing — do they wear a lot of dark colors? A more classic, traditional style of watch is probably a good bet. Moreover, what color is their skin tone? Fairer skin looks good in gold or brown-strapped watches. Darker skin wears white watches or silver watches with black straps well. And as always, there are exceptions to the rule.

So when considering whether to give bracelet watches or oversized watches to your friend, think about who they are as a person, and what they’d prefer. I’m sure you already know.
