High-performance, adrenalin-pumping European racing cars are the inspiration for the Velocity chronograph. The highly legible dial with three subdials and a fluted patterned background replicate the dashboard of a touring sports car. The perforated straps on each timepiece are inspired by the patterns found on steering wheels of classic race cars. The racing theme is extended to the tachymeter bezel which measures distance based on speed.
There are currently eight models with polished stainless steel or black ion plated steel cases available at WorldofWatches.com. You can choose from styles with contrasting or matching bezels in polished steel or black plate … and dials in black, grey, red or white with straps in matching colors.
The Velocity has luminous hands and hour markers on the dial, along with a small seconds, 30-minute and 24-hour register. A window between the 4 and 5 o’clock hours reveals the automatic date calendar.
Each chronograph is 43 millimeters in diameter and 13 millimeters thick. Additional features include water resistance to 100 meters and quality quartz movement for time-keeping accuracy.
