Luxury watch, fashion and jewelry manufacturer, LVMH, which is famous for having designer watch labels like Tag Heuer, Dior and Zenith under its parentage, announced today that they plan to strengthen their focus on women in the watch market–bringing a larger range of watches for when and also bringing on a new Hollywood starlet as brand ambassador for their collection of women’s watches.
This is an interesting move in an industry that is known for being saturated in the men’s watches market–as much as 70% of LVMH watch sales are men’s watches. Yet luxury watches and jewelry are still essential accessories for women and though traditionally watches are a man’s domain, an increasing number of women are wanting brand name watches.
