Chronograph watches offer a rich heritage in time-keeping excellence. The very first chronograph was introduced in 1816 by Louis Moinet for use in the tracking of astronomical objects. In the next half-century chronographs evolved to record time. A true chronograph is one that has independent stop-watch and display watch functions.
