The 2014 Baseball Season officially kicks off this Sunday evening, when the Los Angeles Dodgers play the San Diego Padres at Petco Stadium in San Diego.  The game proceeds this past week’s special series in Australia, where the Dodgers played the Arizona Diamondbacks.

More attention will be played to games later in the week as the Boston Red Sox go up against the Baltimore Orioles, the New York Yankees play the Houston Astros, the Atlanta Braves face off against the Milwaukee Brewers  and the San Francisco Giants meet the Arizona Diamondbacks.

For many the game to watch will be on April 23, when heated rivals the Boston Red Sox play the New York Yankees at Fenway Park in Boston. The Yankees are definitely a team to watch, since third baseman Alex Rodriguez will not be playing the entire year and shortstop Derek Jeter will be ending his baseball career this year.MOV-2600102
